How we are raising Money…

All of the expenses of the tour have been borne by Jonathan and Cathie Weaver with the support of sponsor partners. The tour is the sole property of a Karbon Golf / Peak Performers partnership.

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Canada and individualRonald McDonald Houses only role in the tour is that of recipient of donations made during the tour and Karbon fundraising activities described on this web site.

  • Blast Nutrition Bars has provided a subsidy on their products so that the delta can be used to defer the expenses of the tour.
  • Warrior Custom Golf has provided the tour with a set of clubs for each course the tour plays. The tour will either donate the clubs in Canada to a participating Kin Club. In the USA we will be donating the clubs to a participating Ronald McDonald House® in the USA
  • Individual Kin clubs have agreed to make a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Canada for every course they host
  • Kin clubs will endeavor to sell local sponsorships at each course. Kin clubs will donate minimum 50% of funds raised from local sponsorships to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Canada
  • In America, the tour will donate the set of clubs it receives from Warrior for the courses  played in association with the participating Ronald McDonald House®
    • The participating Ronald McDonald House® may use the clubs in any fashion they choose
    • Additionally, all certificates secured by the tour with the same courses will be donated to the participating Ronald McDonald House®  The participating Ronald McDonald House® may do as they wish with the certificates.
  • Karbon Golf will provide Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Canada with a donation of $4.00 for every Karbon polo / golf shirt sold in Canada during the tour. Karbon Shirts sold in Canada bear a hang tag that tell the public about RMHC.
  • Karbon Golf shirts sold in America in 2008 through the tournament kit, to or through the participating golf courses or in concert with a participating Ronald McDonald House® will result in a donation of $4.00 per shirt to the local participating Ronald McDonald House®
 

The hope of the tour is:

  • Play 416 courses - 8 courses per week for the year
  • Generate donations from local sponsors at all courses in Canada
  • Generate donations from the public as a result of the publicity
  • Sell minimum 30,000 polo shirts in Canada raising $120,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Canada
  • Sell minimum 20,000 polo shirts in the USA raising $80,000 for the participating Ronald McDonald Houses® in the US
